These techniques are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. They are very simple to learn and extremely effective. These techniques can help you to release any negative energies, thoughts or feelings that are stuck in your body and mind.

EFT can help you to let go of habitual thoughts, addictive behaviours or fears. It is also excellent at helping clients to relax and de-stress. I teach this technique in the very first session to any client who is suffering from anxiety or panic attacks, in order that they can quickly learn to bring these sometimes overwhelming feelings back under their control.

These energy therapies can help on a wide range of issues such as:

  • overcoming depression and negative thought patterns
  • stopping smoking, by working on releasing any underlying stresses or fears
  • losing weight, by releasing the emotional feelings connected with food
  • overcoming fears and phobias, such as social phobias, flying, spiders and insects
  • releasing stress
  • pain relief

How do these techniques work

Meridian therapies, such as EFT, TAT (Tapas acupressure technique) and BSFF (Be set free fast) work by releasing any blocked emotional, mental or physical energies through the meridians (energetic channels) of the body. You will be shown how to tap, hold or rub various acupressure points in the body, whilst focussing on various aspects of your issues. These therapies work with the subconscious mind, helping you to release from very deep levels in a similar way to hypnotic regression techniques.

When a connection is made with any stuck energies, it is common to experience the release of these energies by various memories coming to mind, or by experiencing emotional or physical feelings in the body. These experiences are usually very fleeting, lasting for only a few seconds, but they can be very important indicators of the subconscious reasons for holding onto a particular behaviour pattern. It is then possible to work on these memories and feelings, releasing and letting go of any negative content.
