Supervision for hypnotherapists
I can offer confidential supervision sessions for any trainee, newly-qualified or established hypnotherapist.
Supervision sessions can cover:
- identifying, and working to resolve, any transference or projection which may have been experienced during client sessions
- working on techniques and processes that you may have been unsure about applying in your work
- learning new techniques and processes - exploring and developing skills in a safe environment
- reviewing client sessions - discussing the issues and applying the lessons by adapting your working practices and procedures for future success
- reviewing and resolving any personal problems or issues which may be impacting on client sessions
- reviewing and resolving any problems you may be experiencing in your business or practice
- help with setting up and running your therapy practice
My supervision experience
I have built up extensive experience over the years in my full-time practice as a hypnotherapist, and I am very willing to share this expertise with you.
I currently supervise and mentor hypnotherapy students undergoing their professional studies with the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis. I have over 8 years experience of assisting students with their practice, study and client issues, helping them to pass their professional exams and ultimately to set up their own practices. Many of my former students have continued to be supervised by me post-qualification.
I am the author of Setting up and Running a Complementary Health Practice - a comprehensive text which is being promoted in a number of therapy schools. I can recommend this book to any new practitioner who is starting up their first practice.
I can offer supervision on a one-to-one basis, over the phone or by email, charged hourly pro-rata.
If you would like any further information, or would like to book a supervision session, please feel free to email me and I can usually respond within 24 hours.
